The staff was friendly and helpful.Close walking distance to bus stop,shops and restaurants. Had sea view room,good for the breeze when it was hot.Didnt hear much traffic noise when balcony door was closed.
There should be a wider selection of food at the breakfast table or maybe change from day to day(just a suggestion). The aircondition/fan was a bit noisy(old equipment?).

Nice and helpful staff
We were given a room one the first floor where the working on the next building started 7.30 by drilling in the wall! The springs in the mattresses were horrible, impossible to sleep , the flush in the toilet didnt work and neither did the shower work (there was also a leakage). We did get a much better room when we complained but why were we given that room when these things obviously must have been known.

I actually did not stay at this hotel. I booked it well in advance. On arrival they presented us with a letter stating that they did not have a room for us and booked us into another hotel. This was very disappointing. I planned on booking 3 more nights which I did at the Marina Hotel instead. They were not apologising and I felt simply got more money for the room. If this is what they do, what is the point of booking on the internet? (ChooseMalta.com Comment: We fully agree with the client and firstly she should have been advised by the hotel in advance about this problem and more important given added value for the inconvenience of being moved to another hotel. Nonetheless, may we clarify that this was in no way an error by ChooseMalta.com yet directly related to the hotel in question).

yes i booked for 3 nights i only stayed 1 night because i saw a mouse in my room and i still had to pay for the other 2 nights disgracefull i will be making sure this hotel has very bad press in the newspapers internet etc unless i get refunded for the other 2nights that i didnt stay there

Great location very close to transport
No kettle in room and when asked for a kettle they were going to charge for the use of it. A/C was very noisy

I liked the staff very much. My room was clean and comfortable - and a great size for 1 person!! The lift was very quiet - my room was next to it and I never heard it.
This is not a complaint - but though I chose not to have a sea view a window which let in light would have been appreciated! The little window was opaque glass, probably to enhance privacy - the curtains would have been sufficient!

The location was great and the staff really went out of their way to help you. The room was clean and spacious.
Internet is only on a pay-per-hour basis; it would have been nice to just pay a set fee and not have to worry about logging in all the time using these annoying little papers. Also, the handle for the toilet kept on jamming, so it was difficult to flush the toilet.

We liked the position. Close to shops, bars, etc., and the views from the balcony.
There wasn't a lot of choice with the continental breakfast, and the TV selection was poor. BBC World pictures were fragmented, and to English speakers the Italian, French, German and Maltese programmes were non-runners.

The staff is very professional and the hotel is well maintained. The room was comfortable and clean. My room had an excellent view of the sea and the hotel is well positioned on the Sliema promenade. There are two public pools within an easy walk as well as easy access to the sea.The hotel restaurant has great service and the food was a pleasure. Transportation is easy to acquire whether it is the bus stop that is almost directly in front or taxis that are retrieved by the hotel personnel.
