the position of the hotel was excellent and all the staff were reallly very pleasant
the quality of the food by room service and in one of the restaurants was disappointing...on the third ocassion I ordered a rare steak knowing it would arrive medium to well done

We love the location of the hotel and the fact that one has the opportunity to use both pool and seaside to relax.
Service in smaller bars like the pool bar is below standard, probably because of employment of holiday workers during high season.

The concierge was very helpful with buses/taxis/tours etc. The restaurants were good but the breakfast buffet could have had more fresh food (fruit, cereals). Enjoyed the spa/pool.
The decor was a little tired. Would have expected a free safe in the room. Plus the description of location did not indicate how far out of town the hotel was.

The hotel had a lovely view and the food was excellent.
We had to change rooms in the short time we were there and the rooms were not what we would expect for the price. Frankly, we felt they should have comped one nights stay for all the problems we had.

The 9.30 wake up call offering a cup of tea. The courtesy and willingness of staff to provide a good service. They are all to be congratulated.
Just one point. Please inform new arrivals to check the patio door when looking at view from balcony. We unfortunately closed the door as the air conditioning was on and it locked. We had to wait over 40 minutes for help to arrive. In 36 deg. with no water or phone my wife was in a bad state of shock. We will never close a patio door again . This does not reflect on the hotel as it was our fault. However, a reminder to new customers will stop this unfortunate incident happening again.

The staff was excellent in all requests and were friendly.
the only thing that was negatve was it took us 20-30 min to get a room when we arrived even though we had a room reserved, it was only bad because i had at that moment been up for 30 hours and wanted to got o sleep so it was probably not as bad as it felt.

The view is very nice, and its not more then mins walk to many diffrent clubs, bars, pubs, resturants, and other hotels.
From one room to the other the sound is very audible and the maids are not strong enough to lift the chairs in place, instead they push them and it is quiet noisy especially in the morning.

The hotel staff at the desk was excellent, particularly Elain to whom I owe a big thanks for her help in not only helping with my bookings, but also for being very helpful in re-arranging my flights and pointing me in the right direction for tourism.
The internet did not work properly in the room. I was obliged to bring my laptop to the reception area to get steady internet. The room in which I stayed had little or no internet connectivity.

The balcony and outdoor facilities were very good. The matteress and pillows were very comfortable.
The set up of the bathroom needs to be changed. It is very hard to use the toilet due to the way it is positioned in the bathroom. There was also ants in the room.

They dont tell you that the pool is open to the public for a fee so its not exclusive at all,too full with sunday vistors and school trips during the week.

Avoid. Designed like an up-market bus station. Only one of the three restaurants open, a self-service buffet with a poor choice. Public areas in need of a facelift. There are much better places to stay in St George's including the Corinthia St Georg
