The Xara Palace Relais & Châteaux is a 17th Century Palace located within the fortified, medieval city of Mdina, the old capital and is perched on a hilltop in the center of the Mediterranean island of Malta. This exclusive, boutique Hotel has been meticulously but sensitively restored to reflect its former noble standing. The award winning ‘de Mondion restaurant’ enjoys spectacular panoramic views and offers the best of typical Modern French and Mediterranean cuisine prepared by our award winning Executive Chef Kevin Bonello and his Brigade. May to October de Mondion diners are served ' al fresco ' under a myriad of brightly twinkling stars. Fireworks invariably adorn the sky almost on a daily basis during these summer months and our de Mondion terrace is definitely the perfect venue for such a feast to the eye and palate.
