A series of life-size characters from Malta’s history. The exhibits present vivid pictures of sufferance & cruelties experienced. The sound & light effects impart an impression of interaction with the figures on display. Some graphic scenes of torture are not for the squeamish & young children.

Audio-visual presentation that traces the history of Malta’s former capital, from its foundation to the present. The fascinating pictures in dazzling colour give a glimpse of the history and the cultural past of ancient Mdina. The simultaneous commentary is available in 12 languages.

Tales of the Silent City highlights, in a series of animated tableaux, major events in the long history of Malta’s former capital up to the WWII.
It is housed on the top floor of the 15th Century Palazzo Gatto Murina.
