This theatre offers a wide vista of culturally oriented activities in Gozo. Local talent is featured and encouraged with special prominence to operas. Visiting companies are notably presented and most of the major theatrical companies in Malta have performed at the theatre at one time or another.

This is Gozo's largest theater, boasting of a 1600 people capacity, a spacious orchestra pit and one of Malta’s largest stages. Aurora Opera House gives ample space to local talent and the local production is annually enhanced with top international names from the world’s leading opera houses.
