This theatre offers a wide vista of culturally oriented activities in Gozo. Local talent is featured and encouraged with special prominence to operas. Visiting companies are notably presented and most of the major theatrical companies in Malta have performed at the theatre at one time or another.

This is Gozo's largest theater, boasting of a 1600 people capacity, a spacious orchestra pit and one of Malta’s largest stages. Aurora Opera House gives ample space to local talent and the local production is annually enhanced with top international names from the world’s leading opera houses.

The City Theatre caters for all that which any artistic group needs to perform its works.

World famous orchestras, operas, ballets and theatrical performances have been produced on the magnificent stage of the Republic Hall.

St James Cavalier, Centre for Creativity first opened its doors to the public on the 22nd September 2000. As the Maltese Government's Millennium Project it has taken on the role of pushing forward Malta's cultural aspirations.
