The Hotel Cavalieri totally refurbished in late 2005 faces south and is right on the water's edge. It is stylish with comfortable furnishings and attractive decor and it consists of suites as well as hotel rooms with full sea-views and hotel rooms with a view of the Hilton Yacht Marina and the sea beyond.

It has it's own private lido with a large outdoor swimming pool incorporating a Jacuzzi as well as a large sundeck with sun beds, deckchairs, changing rooms, showers, toilets and a children's paddling pool. On the same sundeck there is an Indoor Swimming Pool, incorporating a second Jacuzzi, which is enclosed in a Solarium and heated from November to April. During the summer months the Solarium is opened up and the pool is used as a second swimming pool.

The public areas are air-conditioned and centrally heated and include a reception, bar and lounge areas as well as extensive patios overlooking the bay of St. Julian's. All the floors at the hotel are served by one or more of the four lifts.

All the areas and facilities of the hotel, including the lifts, have easy access for wheelchair-users. A number of rooms are fully equipped to international standards for wheelchair-users.

All the rooms have balconies with balcony furniture, air-conditioning and central heating, direct-dial telephone, satellite TV, safety deposit boxes, hair-dryer, satellite television with radio and full bath with hand-held shower. Most rooms have a bidet.

The Restaurant with panoramic views of St Julian's Bay serves buffet, cooked and enriched breakfast, 3-course buffet and waiter service lunches and dinners. In the summer months 'al fresco' dining as well as barbeques are organised regularly on the sundeck.

Live entertainment is held on most nights of the week.

There is a Souvenir shop, an Internet Cafe and a Conference room. Two large halls on the top floor of the hotel are available and have 360° panoramic views including St. Julian's Bay, Sliema and the coast.

All the rooms have bathrooms which have full sized baths with hand held showers.

Bay view rooms overlook Balluta Bay, St. Julians and are south facing.
Marina view rooms overlook the yacht marina, the Dragonara Casino and the sea beyond. Marina view rooms are north facing.
