The location and the quietness of the place are quit.

Expected the bathrooms to be better equipped.

Location and setting

Juices and coffees at breakfast did not seem fresh

views, architecture, general feel, though old room style - greenery. I was very glad to have a lovely dinner since had heard food was not good.... The gardens need to be tended to more - but are still lovely.
Bathrooms are old and could be refurbished but hope they keep an updated version of the original style (Mediterranean) when refurbishing rooms and not make them like a hotel room in London.
Will go back for sure. Unique place. very relaxing and tranquil.

the spa

the rooms, the service , the maids, the uncleanliness, it was like staying in a three star ( except the spa)

Nice, quiet and peaceful, and very friendly staff!

Not much to complain about.

We had a large spacious room with 2 large windows overlooking a beautiful view. The bathroom was also nice and clean. Breakfast was good with a considerable variety of food. We also liked the heated outdoor pool.

Such a pity these windows did not have insect screens as we couldn't open them, and enjoy the fresh air outside. Also, we visited this hotel in March when it is not very warm, and we had a long outside walk to our room. The worst walk was in the cold nights, however, if it was summer, we would have loved the walk to our room.

Very quiet relaxing location. Very good SPA.

Late night snacks would be a good addition to the service. :)

The room was excellent. It was not our first time there, but this room was the best we've had.

Nothing comes to mind! We had an excellent stay! Thank you

Friendly staff, perfect location, you can go for a walk from the back and find an amazing view

1 small thing, you can't relax in the bath because on one side you have the water mixer and on the other side you have the overflow, but that was a very small thing compared to a perfect holiday

The rooms are large, nice television. Large wardrobe. Nice lounge, nice bar to have a drinks, lovely pool and outside terrace.

The hair dryer in the bathroom is practically part of the shower! The bath tub was rusty, we had quite a long walk outside to our hotel room, i can imagine it being lovely in Summer, however in winter while raining... not so much fun. Breakfast was not good.

excellent spa facilities

breakfast in room was quite uncomfortable, as the room tables are too low and were not designed to eat on.

big room, pretty gardens, fantastic cliffs nearby

there is not a real beach, it isn't private and it is small without enough sunbeds

the setting and the decor.

The spa in winter is a great place to relax.

The breakfast is poor for a 5 star hotel. Beans lack tomatoe sauce, scrembled eggs, sausages are rather tasteless, bacon too crispy, cheese boring taste. (It has been like this for the last 3 years. Aparently they don't feel the need for improvement.)

A favourite with my family, Hotel Ta Cenc is a perfect for a private, tranquil and relaxing break. The hotel is built on Calypso Island's highest point and overlooks views across the islands of Malta and Comino.
Ta Cenc’s tranquillity comes from the fact that the rooms (bungalows) are dotted around both pools (one family, one adult) and both overlook the magnificent sea views. My family and I try to stay here as much as possible! We highly recommend it.

The rooms are somewhat outdated but the location and setting more than make up for it.
