The Sunny Coast Resort Club is centrally located in the northern hub of entertainment in Malta and at a convenient distance – 8 km – from the ferries to cross the Malta's sister islands – Gozo and Comino.
Qawra, where the resort is located, which is just 19km away from the airport and 16km away from the island's capital Valletta. Also, 8km away one can catch a ferry from Cirkewwa to the sister islands of Gozo and Comino.
Unlike the typical local towns and villages, which are very rich in history and architectural importance, Qawra has only been very recently developed to become a seaside resort popular with the Maltese – quite a few own a summer residence there – and tourists who enjoys the varied life it offers, also being near the other popular town of Bugibba and the fishing village of St Paul's Bay.
Within a short walking distance from the resort is a bus-stop from where public transport takes you directly to Valletta and an ATM facility which accepts the major credit cards.
This Resort has its own Leisure Centre. In a separate area across the hotel and literally by the
malta water's edge is the Leisure and Fitness Centre with its private beach, large outdoor swimming pool together with a children's pool, three jacuzzis, a heated indoor pool, sauna and massage rooms, squash court, games room and a fully air-conditioned gym.
On a heavier note, the fully-equipped gym with treadmills, weights, cardios and a gym instructor to help you draw up your personalised fitness programme will help keep your body on track.
At the pool bar, guests may be served from English breakfast and burgers, to grills, pasta, salads, and fruit, or just a frothy cappuccino and cake. Make sure you treat yourself at least once to the delicious Maltese ftira, the traditional Maltese bread with fresh tomatoes, tuna, olive oil and peppered marinated vegetables… It's one of those small pleasures that make your time away worthwhile.
The Sunny Coast Resort Club consists of 91 spacious Studios and Apartments, recently renovated to offer the maximum in comfort and wellbeing. The different apartments, accommodating from two to six persons, all have a sitting and dining room, a bathroom, one or two carpeted bedrooms, a wide balcony (mostly with seaviews) and a fully-equipped kitchenette for the guests' self-catering needs. The rooms have a personalised touch and are nicely done up with soft furnishings in different hues of blue and with considerable attention to detail.
All apartments have direct-dial telephone, satellite TV, radio and hairdryer, a safe and are fully air-conditioned/central-heated. Towels are changed daily except Fridays and Sundays and a thorough linen and maid service is provided every three days.
