The rooms are beautiful and the scenery is fantastic. Breakfast was also great!
The evening meal was disappointing when booked on a half board basis. The choice offered by the hotel was much more extensive for those ordering a la carte.

Location
Room style was very old and did not match photos on hotel site. Photos depict much nicer furnishings. We learnt that they have older and more recently renewed rooms but we booked based on the photos on their website and we were highly disappointed on entering the room. We paid good money but wouldn't have paid half that amount for the kind of room we were given. ( ChooseMalta Note: The photos othe website are the ones supplied by the hotel).

Lovely location, bar and restaurant clean and staff very helpful and friendly
Room we were staying in had a generator above it it was very noisy we highlighted this to the receptionist, she looked into it and offered us an alternative room to sleeo in. As we were staying just one night and it was quite late in the evening when we found out we didn't bother. It did spoil the visit.

Fabulous location and view. Eating breakfast and watching the sea is something not to be missed.
Cramped elevator, narrow stairs, needs refurbishment in some areas. Garage is not linked by elevator. Reception could be more welcoming and also better lit.

Very nice, close to the ferry and very nice views. The staff very helpful.
no lift from car park. we stayed 3 nights (the room was never cleaned once -i mean washing of the floor), plus breakfast not a single type of sweet (for a four star hotel I pretend at least two types of desserts not fruit only). Plus the website should be more updated because I wanted to see the events example if they have any buffet in the evening and it was listed, than when we saw that they are going to organise a fish buffett we tried to change to half board but they said that we have to pay the full premium.

I was impressed with the front reception upon arrival , having studied hospitality management I was surprised with the professional way they welcomed us.
To be honest the short break was going really well until the hotel was hosting a parting that Saturday night. The disco music carried on until the early hours of the morning roughly 2 am, even after having called reception at 1 am to warn them that some of the partygoers were running round the corridors and knocking on room doors and shouting across halls no one came to stop them and nothing was done for about 1 hour.

Welcome drink. Other 4 star hotels in Malta do not serve it. Our room for 2 adults + 2 children was enormous and very comfortable
There are no toilet facilities near pool area and shower needed repair as flow of water was poor or none at all.

The superior seaview room was a suite with a large balcony looking down to the ferry. It was lovely and very relaxing. The staff were very helpful and efficient (extra hangers, room service etc.) and a member of staff showed us to our room with our luggage being brought up soon afterwards. The bbq on the top floor with the stunning view over the harbour and beyond at sunset was something special.
The pool (on 4th floor) was nice but the seating a bit cramped.
