The Solana Hotel is a 2 year old 4-star Hotel situated in the centre of the most northern village in Malta - Mellieha. The Hotel's façade, built in traditional Maltese Limestone is a good introduction to the whole concept of this hotel, which blends very well with the dainty characteristics of this rural village. Standard Deluxe Suites
Ideal for both the leisure and business traveler, Standard Deluxe Suites, comprise an average area of 28 m².
All of these units feature the standard amenities such as Air-conditioning system, Satellite TV, Direct-dial telephone, Frigo Bar Room Safe, Tea and Coffee Making Facilities, ISDN Laptop Connection and include a balcony or terrace, some of which overlook the valley, the bay, the church and the sister Islands of Gozo and Comino. Some other rooms overlook a 'Mediterranean Style' courtyard whilst others overlook the valley and back garden or the rural village of Mellieha. Most of these units are equipped with a comfortable sofa-bed which can sleep up to four persons. The hotel also offers the option of choosing from a double standard deluxe suite with matrimonial bed or twin standard deluxe suite with single beds.

Studio Apartments
The 'middle of the range' unit is similar in size and offers the standard facilities of standard deluxe suite with the addition of a dainty kitchenette and dining facilities, enabling guests to self-cater. The extra sofa bed gives additional value by either being used to sleep extra person/s or simply to have a bigger relaxation area.
This unit is particularly in high demand by families who prefer to supervise their children. The curtain, which can be easily drawn to separate the beds from the sofa-bed, may be found suitable to provide more privacy.
Because of its' sleeping capacities, the studio apartment, is also ideal for groups who may wish to share a room and benefit from our special discounts on 3rd and 4th adult sharing rooms.

One Bedroom apartments
This unit type, being the largest at The Solana, is capable of sleeping up to 6 persons. Featuring the same self-catering facilities as the studio apartment, the 1-bedroom apartment consists of 2 separate bedrooms which can be set up with either matrimonial or twin beds. The average area of approximately 50 m² and the two luxurious bathroom provide ample space for 6 persons to enjoy a stay in unique comfort and relaxation.

All rooms have their own balcony and terrace and are equipped with an individually controlled Air-conditioning system, Satellite TV, Direct-dial telephone, Frigo Bar (stocked upon request), Room Safe, Tea and Coffee Making Facilities, ISDN Laptop Connection (at a charge), in-room DVD facilities (available upon request) and a large luxurious En-suite bathroom.
