The Xara Palace is located just a few metres from the main entrance of the walled historical city of Mdina and opened its doors to receive its first guests on the 1st May 1999. This type of accommodation offers comfort and coziness. Deluxe Rooms with Panoramic view from Porch
These rooms are situated on the top floor of this exclusive property and offer breathtaking vistas of our beautiful island when sitting out on the porch (not private). Rooms are comfortable and interesting and enjoy a sofa and armchair.
Duplex Suite
These duplex Suites are yet again a work of art. Spacious and furnished with selected antique pieces and tasteful fabrics, each of these rooms offer comfort and a feeling of serenity. Both rooms have access onto a piano nobile, fully equipped marble clad bathrooms, a bedroom in a mezzanine, a writing desk and two comfortable sofas in the lounge.
This bright and airy room is located on the bastion wall and offers a breathtaking view of the island. The room is furnished with tasteful furniture, drapes and Florentine lampshades, carefully selected by the owners. A marble clad bathroom with a window overlooking the Maltese countryside complements this romantic room with a view.

These deluxe Suites with private terrace and Jacuzzi offer superior accommodation and a view which makes you feel, quite literally, on the top of the world. Very private accommodation with charming features such as private entrance through a gate.
Superior Duplex Suite with terrace and jacuzzi (from €320 for 2009)
One of the more popular and sought after rooms within the property due to its rich furnishings and stylish surroundings. Full of quaint and unique features such as wall-mounted tapestries, a writing desk, sofa and armchairs, as well as other antique pieces of furniture. A very romantic room.
Cancellation Policy
Due to the limited size of our hotel, cancellations affect us significantly.
A last-minute cancellation leaves us little chance of filling the reserved space.
For these reasons, we uphold a strict cancellation policy.
If reservation is cancelled between 7 and 3 days before date of arrival
there will be a full night’s charge.
If reservation is cancelled 48 hours prior to arrival a minimum of two
nights stay will be charged.
If reservation is cancelled 24 hours prior to arrival the full amount of
stay will be charged.
Any reduction of stay while in house, the full original reservation shall
be charged.
Any refunds made via credit card will be subject to 5% administration fee.
Please note that in the Christmas Festive Season, namely from
the 20th December to the 03rd January cancellation of accommodation is not
accepted after the 30th November. All cancellations will be subject to full
payment.
Cancellation of any bookings made for Easter Period, between the 15th April and the 30th April 2011, are not accepted unless the cancellation is made prior to the 1st April 2011. Should cancellation be made after this date, full payment must be forthcoming.
