We enjoyed the morning breakfast.
We booked and paid for a Front Sea View Room, which was confirmed. We also requested not to be close to the elevators. Our room was not a Front Sea View Room and it was opposite the elevators. We spoke to the front desk. They said it was their mistake and that our room would be changed the next day. It was not changed the next day and we didn't want to spend our time on Malta following up with the staff, so we didn't bother. And obviously, the hotel didn't bother either. The room we had needs updating. The beds should be replaced. We could feel the spring coils in the mattress. We did not have proper pillows. The pillows, if you can call them that, were simply pillow covers stuffed with some sort of filling. There was nothing to them. We would not stay there again nor would we recommend it.

The sea view.
The room 602 (23/24 Sept '09) was in a very run-down state and very much in need of redecoration/refurbishment. Bedside floor mats were dirty and falling apart. The handles on window frames were broken. Mattresses were worn. Bathroom fittings/tiles were in need of replacement. The entire room looked very grubby and we stayed only one night, even though the Receptionist demanded FULL PAYMENT (1,096.50Euros) for 15 nights on check-in. We requested a non smoking room but people in the rooms either side were smoking and it was filtering into ours. My wife is a chronic bronchitic and is allergic to smoke. In the Reception area was a Non Smoking sign, but staff were smoking in the office at the back, making a mockery of the NS Law in Malta. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Couldn't wait to find somewhere else to stay. We were also charged 23.50Euros for the use of the safe which is excessive. This amount was not refunded.

Very nice clean hotel. We had a sea view room which was very good. Food is excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Recommended.
