I was extremely disappointed with my stay at the Plevna. The room was so small, and the curtains were full of holes! Every morning between 7am and 10am the staff would be extremely loud outside our room when they were cleaning rooms. There were also alot of students staying in the hotel (school excursions I presume) and they kept us up to all hours. I did not complain because they were only there for one night at a time and there was no point! I was extremely unhappy with the accommodation, to start off with it was two single beds and they were extremely uncomfortable. When we asked the staff for assistance for a broken glass in the bathroom, it took 2 hours for someone to arrive even though I called reception twice! When someone finally arrived and cleaned up we found a lot of glass in the shower and all over the floor, it wasn't done properly and could have caused a serious injury! The entertainment was also dismal and there was no atmosphere! The lifts were out of order most of the time and the internet was also down most of the time! I will not be going back to the Plevna and will not recommend friends and family to stay.

I liked the breakfast and the convenience its location. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. Definitely value for money.
The Beach Club was slightly disappointing.

Staff was friendly and accommodating.
It was a bit old school/'Faulty Towers' like. The decor was right out of another era. The tap water wasn't drinkable. The Bathroom had a bit of odd odor.

The location and easy access to the buses and tours in Sliema , whilst being in a quieter side street.
The size of the sitting and bar areas Room cñeaning started very early so you need to use the do not disturb tags before you go to bed.

Clean and the rooms were nice and mostly very spacious.
The pool does not open until May and it didn't say that when we booked it.

Near to Silema
Booked a double, got a twin. Broken tiles with sharp edges in bathroom. Took 30 minutes to fill the bath. Kettle unsafe and blew fuses*, plug was 2 old plugs together, flex was taped. Bedside lamp flickered when touched. Mini-bar knob was detached and whole mini-bar was on its own (damaged) flex. There were FOUR a/c units directly outside window. No remote control for TV and no English speaking channels. Had to climb on chair to adujst a/c. No hot water one evening*. *Twice left waiting without feedback/explanaion. Leaflets in reception out of date. Food tastless and pale. Generally very poor standard of maintainance. Generally very poor standard of staff interaction.

Reception people were nice. Location is good.
