The ratings on previous page relate to the Coral Hotel as we were transferred there on arrival due to overbooking at the Canifor. The Coral hotel staff did everything they could to alleviate our disappointment at the change. They were friendly, helpful and prepared to go out of their way to help us, of which we were very appreciative.
The location was not ideal. We had booked the Canifor Hotel for its central location, bearing in mind we had two older teenage children, and were therefore disappointed to be moved to a quiet location. The hotel was considerably smaller than the one booked with only an outdoor pool as opposed to the Canifor which had an indoor.

the maltese are very friendly and speak good english. the hotel was great value for money. all in all it was a good stay and a beautiful island. i would recommend hiring a scooter to get around,the roads are quite safe and in good condition,great fun.the bus services are excellent and very reasonible. nice bit of winter sun..i would go back..

it was ok
We arrived 2 days late because of flight cancellation and the hotel still charged us the full price even though they had been pre-advised. We also enquired about checking out late on departure and we were asked us to pay an extra 20 euros. All this even though we paid for an extra 2 nights. Management at this hotel is not flexible and unreasonable.

Nice hotel, nice staff unless for what i write in the next step.
I told the staff 3 times 'dont disturb, dont clean my room' also with a sign outside the door. However they were cleaning, asking, and woke me up once by calling for asking 'do you want us to clean or to change towels. If the sign is on the door 'dont disturd' the staff should leave the guest/guest alone. That was almost the only very annoying at Canifor.

Food ok nice pool.
Room 30, Airconditioning stunk, bathroom very dated and also smelled.
Dangerous electrics on Tv Switches. Very Noisy early in the morning due to early deliveries 6.30am

I loved this hotel rooms were big, food was for all tastes, staff was very helpful. Had a great holiday at the Canifor. I will going there again!
There was no fruit at breakfast, but that was my only suggestion for improvement.
